Hair Dryer Ratings

Do Ionic hair dryers etc. damage your hair?

I've heard that they work wonderfully and don't damage hair. Is that true? I am particularly interested in Ionic Hot Air Brushes.

1. yup. they ions help it dry faster so its less damaging. edit: and by yup i mean it doesnt damage hair.
2. NO-they do not, they make your hair shafts smoother, they do not really speed anything up. My hairdryer AI can turn the ions on and off, and it doesn't make any difference in drying time.
