Is to much Biosilk or Paul Mitchells Super Skinny Serum bad for your hair?

I was reading on some ratings about these products and read one bad comment, it said that they were bad for your hair after useing every month. Is that really true or is that just that one person. Has anybody use either products more then a month and got dry damaged hair?

1. if you use too much of it, it'll weigh your hair down. and after continuous usage if you don't clean your hair really well with shampoo, you'll get some buildup of the product
