Is to much Biosilk or Paul Mitchells Super Skinny Serum bad for your hair? I was reading on some ratings about these products and read one bad comment, it said that they were bad for your hair after useing every month. Is that really true or is that just that one person. Has anybody use either products more then a month and got dry damaged hair?

How much electric do my household appliances use? I'm trying to save on energy and I have been told the TV is a big user. My husband says my hair dryer and straightners use more because they have a heating element. I thought the fridge would use a lot but a man at Comet said it would cost aroung £25 a year to run that. Any ideas of website that give the ratings etc. Or do you yourself know.

Best thermal heat protector for hair? Chi Silk Infusion? Im looking for a very good thermal heat protector for my hair. I read reviews on folica.com on Chi silk infusion and Chi iron guard, and while silk infusion got very high ratings, iron guard was rated very low for making hair sticky and crunchy. I blow dry my hair frequently and curl it or flat iron it every day. I want a product that will protect it the best! On Chi's website, it says that the silk infusion protects hair from thermal styling although it is not specifically a thermal protector. Have you used Chi silk infusion and how did it work for you? Or what other heat protector would you recommend?

Fake Counterfeit GHD Straightener on eBay? I know this isn't a question, but I was hoping this would answer the question many are hopefully asking..."Is this deal on a GHD on eBay too good to be true?" I'm really struggling with watching person after person buy fake GHD straighteners on eBay without doing their research. The amazing thing is, these sellers have 100% ratings (for selling $300 items at $100). Why is that? Well...you don't realize until months down the road that this straightener is just like a WalMart brand and for some reason it stopped working or has burned my hair. Where does this frustration of watching people buy what they think is a real GHD come from? I was ripped off myself (luckily, the guy refunded my money). Here is the deal. First, call GHD yourself. Find out who is an authorized dealer (there is only like 3 online stores). The cheapest price you can get is around $220, so finding a NEW on on eBay for under $200 should be a hint. Second, China is the country that is making these fake products (should be from Korea). If you see anything Chinese about the seller's store...BE AWARE! Third, Google "Fake GHD eBay" and see what comes up. You'll be amazed! You will also find some tips of what to look for. Fourth, they REALLY look real. It was VERY hard to find the flaws. The white and the gold ones are the hardest to find flaws because they aren't available in the US, so there isn't much to compare it to. The biggest clue was the plug. It didn't have the square end (like a hair dryer) as all GHD's have. It was just a basic plug. My advice...check out Folica.com. The reviews are VERY helpful and their prices are comparable to eBay, but NEW and they come with a warranty! We got a Sedu and LOVED it. I hope this gets into the hands of people looking to buy a GHD or any other product like this (the CHI brand has TONS of fakes out there also). If you just bought your item and find that it is fake, contact eBay immediately!

Laptop- New Heatsink and Fan not as powerful as the OEM? I have a Gateway MT6458 laptop whose Fan/Heat-sink stopped working. I replaced the fan/heat-sink with an aftermarket part of the same Serial Number but its not the same brand as the OEM equipment. Now the new fan kicks on but don't exhaust as strongly as the OEM one did. You can barely feel the venting on the new on, whereas the OEM fan felt like a hair dryer on low, it really expelled the hot air. My Question is.. Do these parts come in different power ratings or output, or did I just buy a cheap one and got what I paid for. $10 on ebay vs. $50+ from the Gateway Store.

Power inversion-Watts and appliances? I am looking to buy a power inverter to prepare for hurricane season on the east coast. I was looking at some online and I am looking for a 12V to 115-120AC sine output. I am looking to run a fridge, a small television and possibly a hot plate from time to time. I know that they have wattage ratings. Do I have to buy one that matches the total wattage rating of all the appliances if I were to run them all at once, or do I look at the amperage? Do I have to buy the 1,500 watt or 750 watt inverter, if so why, if not which one do I choose? I got the battery part down, it is just the inverter I am looking into. If my mom would use a hair dryer, is this possible too? It's been a long while since I've had some physics but I do understand circut diagrams. Anything visual helps in the explaining this.

What should I do with my hair? It just takes too long to fix. It's naturally real curly, and I have to blow dry/straighten it, and it takes forever to straighten. Even then, it's real frizzy. ANSWER THIS!!! do you think that this shampoo works...? WEN shampoo? i have dry, flaky scalp, and WEN says that it moisturizes and washes without stripping hair of it's moisture. does that mean i'll get greasy hair? will it make it thicker? more alive?
